3. Witness two signsYou must also see the second witness sign the same document.
What should you check before anyone signs?
- Check names, addresses and wishes
- Use the final complete document
- Choose two adult witnesses over 18
- Make sure neither witness, nor their married partner, receives a gift
- Read the service's instructions
What should you do afterwards?
- Check every required signature and date
- Store the original safely
- Tell executors where it is
- Do not write changes on the signed will
